Survey flow and BIA creation or modification

Surveys can include functionalities related to their lifecycle, such as the use of action buttons to manage different states (when configured), and the ability to create or modify a Business Impact Analysis (BIA) based on the recorded responses.

Flow buttons

Depending on the state flow configuration defined in the survey model and the current state, one or more action buttons available to the user may be displayed.

In surveys without configured states, the “Finish” button will always be displayed as the only closing option.

On the other hand, when the survey has a defined state flow, the buttons “Move to previous state” or “Move to next state” may appear, depending on the allowed transitions. The back option will only be available if it has been explicitly activated in the survey model.

Additionally, if the states are manual, their management is not performed within the survey itself but through the Publications section in the survey manager.

Create or Modify BIA

  • The “Create BIA” button only appears when the survey does not have a previously associated BIA or was generated from a consolidated BIA. This button is not displayed in external accesses.

  • The “Modify BIA” button is displayed when there is already an individual BIA linked to the survey, either because it was generated from an individual BIA or because it was previously consolidated. It is also not available in external accesses.
