Metrics

This option allows you to include the values generated by the indicators which support the specific objectives.

In the main screen you can identify the list of all the metrics which have been defined.

The Last Value and Last Date fields show if the metrics are being updated:

-Date: Date of creation of the metric.

-Supervisor: The person responsible for the metric.

-Auto: It indicates if the metric is manual or automatic.

-Frequency: It indicates the frequency with which the metric is calculated.

-Areas: Ii indicate the area o which the metric is associated.

-Last value: Indicates the last value that has been applied to it.

-Last date: Indicates the date on which the last value was updated.

You can also identify the following options in the main screen:

  • New: It allows you to generate metrics.

  • Remove: It allows you to remove Metrics which have been generated previously.

  • Catalog of Automatic Metrics: This option allows you to generate a set of metrics proposed by GlobalSUITE. These Metrics generates data automatically.

  • Download: It allows you to download the list of the metrics used from GlobalSUITE.

With respect to the catalog of Automatic Metrics, it appears an emergent window where it is defined all those metrics organized by categories.

The main characteristic of those Metrics is that are completely automatic and it generates the specific data through other options of GlobalSUITE. The methodology is quite similar for using the metrics than the indicators, but you have to select firstly those metrics you want to use and associate them. On that way they will be included in the list of metrics.

You can identify the Metrics which are associated with the catalog, through the column ‘Auto’, because it appears the word ‘Yes’ indicating that the data are generated automatically in the specific option of GlobalSUITE. NOTE: You have to click on the specific name for acceding to each one of the metrics Once you have acceded, you can identify them in the following tabs:

Graph

This section shows the values obtained in the specific measurement and it has been represented graphically.

The option ‘Metrics’ in the section ‘Graphs’ provides the following options:

  • New: It allows you to generate or include a new value in the metric.

  • Remove: It allows you to remove a value previously defined.

At the same time it’s possible to indicate additional information which you consider as necessary for clarifying the data included.

Metric Data

  • Data: It establishes the date on which begins the recollection of values

  • Name: It allows you to determine the name of the metric.

  • Nickname: GlobalSUITE generates automatically a name for the nickname. This nickname will be used for generated the calculation formula for the indicator.

  • Scale: It allows you to establish the range of values for representing the graph

  • Recolection frequency: It establishes the time frame on which the recollection of values has to be done.

  • Information storage: It allows you to determine the place where the values will be stored.

  • Selection Metric Coordinator It allows you to establish if the head coordinator is done manually or it’s done automatically, on such a way it will be identified as coordinator one employee managed by GlobalSUITE®.

  • Head Coordinator (Employees) It determines which employee es the head coordinator of managing the metric.

  • Alert When you mark this field, GlobalSUITE will send an e-mail to the coordinator previously established.

  • Description: It allows you to generate or include any type of description which you consider necessary for clarifying the sense of the metric defined.

  • Indicators: It establishes those indicators associated with the metric defined

  • Documents: It allows you to associate documentation which clarifies the metric or it serves as a record.

Metrics propagation

This option allows you to propagate the metrics, which are defined in the parent company, to the subentities.

Once you have acceded to this option, GlobalSUITE shows the following table:

Left table: It shows the list of metrics which has been defined in the parent company. The table allows the following options:

  • Propagate: Once selected the metrics, it allows you to propagate these metrics to the selected subentities.

  • Back: It offers the possibility of returning to the main screen of matrics.

Right top table: It shows the list of subentities on which you can associate metrics to the parent company. In this table you can expand or contract the list of subentities.

Right lower table: Once selected the subentity in the top table, it shows the metrics which have been associated with the subentity. GlobalSUITE offers the possibility of removing an associated metric; for this task you have to select the row and click on the button 'Remove'.

Metrics consolidation

This option allows you to consolidate the metrics defined in the parent company with the metrics of the subentities which depends on the parent company.

Once you have acceded to this option, it shows the following information:

Chart It shows the different valuations performed in the metrics of the parent company and the subentities.

Own metrics table Permite visualizar el listado de metricas de la empresa matriz que se han asociado a una o varias subentidades

Propagated metrics table It allows you to view the subentities on which the selected metric has been associated. The table gives the following information:

  • Show It offers the possibility of viewing the metric results in the top chart.

  • Alias It indicates the alias assigned to the metric in the subentity.

  • Metric It informs on the metric name associated with the subentity.

  • Subentity It shows the subentity on which the metric has been associated.

  • Parent company It indicates the parent company on which the metric has been propagated.
