Consolidation Resources

When the user accedes to this option, GlobalSUITE shows a table with the list of actions or resources defined by the user. The platform allows the user to perform the following actions in the table:

  • New: It allows you to insert a new entry in the table.

  • Remove: It allows you to remove a resource of the table. For this task you have to select the row or rows and click on the button ‘Remove’.

  • Download: You can download the list of the resources in an editable format (.docx) or in PDF.

Once acceded to the resource or action, GlobalSUITE shows a form which allows you to define the necessary parameters.

Data of the action

These are the fields which can be defined.

  • Name: It identifies the name of the resources or actions. This name will appear in the initial list of the consolidating resources.

  • Description: It allows you to identify the characteristics which the resources must comply for acquiring the additional information about the actions that are needed for recovering the services inside the MTPD.

  • Supervisor: It enables to identify the supervisor of the resources management or action management.

NOTE: The list of employees is defined in the section ‘Management/Employees’.

  • Time limit: It indicates the term on which the resources or actions must be implemented in the organization.

  • Budget: It allows you to identify the budget for acquiring the resources or for implementing the actions needed in the organization.

  • Complete: It offers the possibility of indicating if the action has been completed or not completed.

  • Completion Date: It indicates the completion date on which the resources or actions must be implemented in the organization.

Consolidated BIA Resources

This option shows all the resources which are identified in the section ‘Resources needed of the Consolidated BIA. These resources are needed for recovering the services within the maximum tolerable interruption time or MTPD.

Resultant Products of the Action

This option allows you to define the resources or actions which have been performed for the correct recovery of the services inside the MTPD.

GlobalSUITE allows you to carry out the following actions:

  • Add: It allows you to add a new entry in the table clicking on the same table.

  • Remove: It allows you to remove resources or actions defined in the table. For this task you have to select the row or rows and to click on the button ‘Remove’.

  • Associate with assets: It allows you to associate different resources acquired to the assets previously identified in the section ‘Analysis/Asset Inventory’.

When you click on the link, GlobalSUITE allows you to perform a deeper description of the resource acquired or the action performed, and offering the possibility of completing the following fields:

  • Name: It identifies the name of the resource or action performed. This name will be shown in the list of the resultant products.

  • Category: (just for the resources) It allows you to identify the category on which the acquisition belongs.

  • Units: It indicates the number of resources which have been acquired.

  • Location: It allows you to identify where are located the resources in the organization.

  • Attach: You have the possibility of attaching any file with additional information about the resource or action performed.
